

Urodzony w 1940 r. – Syberia – tajga. Studia artystyczne w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Sztuk Plastycznych w Poznaniu na Wydziale Malarstwa, Grafiki i Rzeźby.
Dyplom w 1967 r.
Uprawia malarstwo grafikę i rysunek. Swoje prace eksponował na kilkunastu wystawach indywidualnych. Brał udział w ponad 20 wystawach środowiskowych i w 18 ogólnopolskich. Uczestniczył w 8 wystawach międzynarodowych i w prezentacjach polskiej sztuki za granicą: Bułgaria, Niemcy, Kanada, Francja, Anglia, USA, Grecja. Laureat wielu nagród i wyróżnień.
Jest ministerialnym rzeczoznawcą w dziedzinie malarstwa współczesnego.
Prace w zbiorach Muzeum im. Leona Wyczółkowskiego w Bydgoszczy, CSW w Toruniu oraz w zbiorach prywatnych w kraju i za granicą: Niemcy, Anglia, Dania, Kanada, Norwegia, Finlandia, Francja, Austria, Australia, USA, Japonia (15 prac u prywatnego kolekcjonera w Chicago i 6 prac w Tokio). Podróże artystyczne: Indie, Nepal, USA, Włochy, Austria, Francja, Rosja.
Born in 1940 – Siberia – taiga. A graduate of the State Tertiary – Level School of Fine Arts in Poznań (the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Art and Sculpture).

He deals with painting, graphic art and drawing. His works of art have been presented at a dozen or so individual exhibitions. He has taken part in over twenty community exhibitions and eighteen all – Polish ones. He has also participated in eight international exhibitions and presentations of Polish art abroad: in Bulgaria, Germany, Canada, France, England, the USA and Greece. He is a laureate of numerous prizes and honorable mentions.
He is also a ministerial expert on modern painting.
His works of art are in the collections of Leon Wyczółkowski Museum in Bydgoszcz in Poland and the Centre of Moderne Art (CSW) in Toruń, but also in private collections both in Poland and abroad: in Germany, England, Denmark, Canada, Norway, Finland, France, Austria, Australia, the USA and Japan (fifteen works of art bought by a private collector in Chicago and six in Tokyo). His artistic journeys included India, Nepal, Italy, Austria, France, the USA and Russia.
Sztuka dla mnie jest doświadczeniem zamierzonego i nieoczekiwanego. Staram się nie zawężać swojej twórczości do „jednego obrazu”, nie ograniczać się do jednej formy wypowiedzi. A mimo to być rozpoznawalnym poprzez ten sam „charakter pisma”.
Art is for me the experience of something intended but unexpectable at the same time. I try not to restrict my artistic activity to “one image” only, not to confine myself to one way of expression, although I try to be recognizable through the same “handwriting”.
